Our Sustainable Fabrics
Each piece we create is carefully curated from the first step of choosing the correct fabric, that which will not harm the environment, to the timelessness of the design to the selective use of embellishments we use. To give our customer the best quality, we work with the motto of slow and steady while creating the garments - we believe time spent well in the creation of our pieces helps us provide the best.
Each piece has its own unique quality and because of this there may be a difference in colour due to the way these fabrics take in their herbal dyeing, and we believe this is the beauty of their character.
Handspun & Handwoven Organic Cotton
The handcrafted and our home fabric.
Our home fabric is handspun and handwoven into life. No electricity is used in its creation. It is created in collaboration with WomenWeave, our partner NGO who focus on women empowerment in the handloom section. Handmade with love.
Organic Cotton
The alternative.
Organic cotton is pesticide-free and produced by loving planet earth. It is soft, durable, great for the skin (you) and the environment.
Hemp
The super fibre and our star fabric.
Hemp is often considered a super fibre. Not only does it love nature, it is also durable and gets softer with every wash. It doesn’t require pesticides to be produced making it a healthy piece of clothing to own and is also antibacterial! By buying hemp, you not only get yourself a piece of clothing you’ll love for a long time, but you also reduce your carbon footprint by a massive amount.
Recyled Fabric
The eco-champion.
Crafted from waste or surplus fabrics and yarns collated by our vendor in Gujarat, our newest fabric family member is as soft as cotton, as durable as hemp and as breathable as linen. It's a survivor!
Tencel
The all-natural option.
Our Tencel is provided by Textile Basket and certified by The Lenzing Group. This means that the natural wood cellulose fibres are produced in sustainably managed plantations that use their resources efficiently making sure nothing goes to waste! Not only that, the fabric is cooling, breathable and a comfortable fabric to spend all your days in.
Linen
The long-lasting fibre.
This incredibly durable fibre is even stronger than cotton! A conscious wardrobe is all about longevity so, this fabric is the perfect one to craft clothes that hug nature back and stay your lifelong friend.
